Spirit of Performance
Workshops

Spirit of Performance Your (and Your People’s) Performance!
This flagship program builds from the premise that personal (and professional) performance improvement is every individual’s desire. It explores typical barriers that prevent us from fully achieving our desired result of improved performance.

Then we unroll three Power Packs for Performance Improvement: creativity, energy, and humor. We present specific techniques to break through those barriers and to actualize the Four Critical Factors of Performance Improvement.

“Spirit of Performance” focuses on the individual’s approach to her/his personal performance and to the work environment that impacts performance. Individuals leave this program equipped with ample techniques to apply immediately.

Inspirational! I was encouraged by your presentation.
It was lovely to hear Robin’s story. Thank you for sharing your life with us.”
(Martha Flacy, Tillman Physical Therapy and Sports Training Center)

Batteries Included: How to Charge and Recharge Your Creative Cells
This program is based on the fact that every individual has a Creative Self. The availability of that Creative Self differs from one individual to the next. In either keynote or workshop format, we explore specific tactics to allow participants to recognize, accept and appreciate their creativity.

More importantly from pragmatic and personal-value bases, this program relates the individual’s creative powers to her/his everyday environment, especially work. Batteries Included provides participants numerous techniques to turn on, turn up, and turn loose their creative powers.

A variety of stories and interactive activities—drawn from my book, Batteries Included…, insure that participants actually experience their creativity, take ownership of how to vitalize their creative skills, and leave with specific applications for “creativity at work.”

Lead as You’ve Never Led Before!
Lead as You’ve Never Led Before presents the thrust of leadership improvement, rather than leadership development. This program develops concepts and techniques that apply to leadership situations, whether experienced by those in authority or those faced with spontaneous, “take charge” situations.

As an extension of the keynote format, the Lead as You’ve Never Led Before workshop introduces a number of small group activities, discussion components, and ample Q&A. The contents and objectives of the workshop extend the depth and detail of the program.

Leadership Turnaround: Changing to Lead in the 21st Century
Leaders face challenges. Leaders in 21st century healthcare face more challenges and more complex challenges.

These challenges demand that leaders possess and practice a new set of leadership concepts and skills.  This applies to those who hold positions that demand their leadership acumen every day and to those who experience of-the-moment demands to take on spontaneous leadership responsibility.

Leadership Turnaround plays on the phrase “turnaround leadership.” For decades leadership has been viewed (and taught) as high-level management. To make the changes that will meet the challenges in this century, we need to turnaround our approach to leadership: its definition, its concepts, and its skills.

Blow the Lid Off!  Build and Be a Part of Turbo Teams!
No organization succeeds on individual performance. Teams and team operations are critical to the well-being success of the organization.

Turbo Teams has universal appeal and specific application to those whose functions and responsibilities cover a broad range and can be more efficiently/effectively handled by teams. By taking a unique look at the concepts and practices crucial to team success, this program provides faster and more productive development and implementation of “team work.”

As a workshop/breakout session, the real-life examples are expanded into group activities to ensure awareness that this kind of team work works! Ample discussion, Q&A and reflection guarantee participants’ ownership of the skill sets developed.

Excel-erate Your Patients’ Experience!
Reality is that every individual within a healthcare organization impacts, in some way, the patients’ experience. Not everyone realizes that reality.

Excel-erate Every Resident’s Experience generates excitement among individuals by demonstrating and emphasizing the variety of ways in which they impact the patient’s experience. The program satisfies managers and administrators by giving hands-on practice in techniques that allow an office, department, unit, or team to move the patients’ experience toward “excellence.”

This workshop appeals to organizations that enjoy presentations with very high-levels of interaction and discussion, as opposed to lecture-type.

“Great insight on how to work with my employees to improve their performance.
I wholeheartedly recommend this program. It is very informative.”
Ed Wrzesinski, Practice Administrator, Frederic Primary Care Associates (MD)
